Business Development Executive

Salary: £22,000 FTE + Bonuses
OTE: 50% uncapped
Location: WFH or office based

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our energetic small team in our fast growing coaching business.

It’s an exciting time for us at Action Coach Stroud. Our business is growing and so we have an opening for someone with a proven track record of lead generation and B2B sales experience to play a key role in onboarding small to medium size business owners into our market-leading business coaching and training program.

You will be supported fully in developing several lead generation strategies and delivering new and innovative sales campaigns. With at least two years experience in tele-marketing ideally in business to business sales, you are a solid, ambitious and energetic sales performer with the ability to build rapport with a variety of prospects and clients.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have new business sales experience (2 + years)
  • Happy working to and hitting weekly KPIs
  • Be target driven
  • Be articulate with cheerful disposition
  • Demonstrate good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Be comfortable on CRM database (full training given)
  • Demonstrate good organization skill and attention to detail

Contract type: Part-time
Working hours: Hours are flexible, 25 hours per week would be ideal, with the option to fit around school hours where applicable.
Salary range: £22,000 – £25,000 Pro rata and depending on experience
Location: Hybrid – flexible working pattern working both at home and in our office based in Stonehouse.

increasing their profits, building stronger teams and developing their business so it can ultimately work without them. Clients participate in a range of group and individual
coaching programmes, business planning days and team/individual development programmes.

Your day to day responsibilities?
● Full PA support to our Senior Partner
● Varied administrative support to our small team
● Representing the company in front of prospective clients
● Facilitating weekly direct marketing campaign by mail
● Liaising with clients and prospects
● Organising Events and seminars
● Maintaining relationships suppliers and strategic partners
● Production of hand written communications and marketing material
● Reporting and presentation of documentation and statistics.
● Managing diary appointments and client/supplier correspondence
● Writing of creative pieces for use on websites, social media and in print
● Creating marketing paraphernalia for event and social media campaigns.
● Assisting with the production of coaching materials (ie powerpoint
presentations/worksheets etc)

The ideal candidate…
To excel in this role, you should be a confident communicator who enjoys turning their
hand to anything. You need to be highly motivated and focused as well as having
excellent interpersonal and written communication skills along with a keen eye for detail.

Our perfect candidate will also have the following skills:
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Experience on Xero desirable but not essential
● Experience with Hubspot (CRM) desirable but not essential
● Focused attitude and the ability to work on own initiative
● Able to manage multiple requests and prioritise varied workloads
● Pro-active approach
● Ability to multi-task
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint – creating and
manipulating documents in all of these formats.
● Experience of CRM systems and accurate data entry.
● A basic knowledge of invoicing and general accounting online..
● Some knowledge of social media and the various platforms that can be used for
digital marketing.
● Excellent organisation skills and some experience of event management would be
advantageous.
